Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Consequently, we exclusively process your data in accordance with applicable legal regulations (GDPR, Telecommunication Act 2003). The aim of our privacy policy is to explain the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.

Contacting Us
When you contact us via a form on the website or by e-mail, your data is stored by us for a period of six months in order to process your request and to answer potential follow-up questions. This information is not shared with others without your consent.

Data Storage
We would like to point out that - for the purpose of facilitating the purchase of the FELIX USB flash drive and for the subsequent contract processing by the web shop operator - the IP data of the connection owner is stored in cookies. The same applies to the name, postal address, and e-mail address of the buyer.

In addition, for the purpose of contract processing, we also store the following data: salutation, title, VAT number, other comments, and requests. The data provided by you is required for the fulfilment of the contract and/or the execution of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of address data to the shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods, as well as to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.

After the termination of the purchase process, the data we have stored is deleted. In the event of a conclusion of contract, all data pertaining to the contractual relationship is stored until the expiry of the tax retention period of 7 years.

Furthermore, data regarding name, address, purchased goods, and date of purchase are stored until the end of the product liability (10 years). All data is processed in accordance with the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) Telecommunication Act and Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (Consent) and/or lit b (Necessary for Fulfilment of Contract) of the GDPR.

Ourwebsite uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device via your browser. They cause no damage or harm.

We use cookies to make our online presence user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until they are deleted by you. They allow us to recognise your browser upon your next visit.

We also use so-called first-party and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are stored directly from our website in your browser. This can improve the use of the website. Third party cookies are stored by a third party in your browser. These are above all tracking or marketing tools. They evaluate the user behavior. In addition, they also enable the third party to recognize you or your browser on other websites that use them.

If you do not agree with this procedure, you can set up your browser to inform you about the creation of cookies and to allow it in individual cases only.

However, disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our Website.

Web Analytics / Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, including the features of Universal Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of how you use the website in question. The information generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there.

IP Anonymisation (IP Masking)
Given the as yet unresolved legal situation regarding the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, our website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means that - before further use - Google shortens your IP address in a member state of the European Union or in other countries that are part of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, thus they are only used anonymously. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google serverin the US and shortened there.

Google uses this information on our behalf in order to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website activity and Internet usage.

The (shortened) IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data stored by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. Please note, however, that such a setting may prevent you from using all the features this website offers. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting the website usage-related data generated by the cookie (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the available browser plugin via the following link

Facebook Pixels
As part of our online presence, we use so-called "Facebook pixels" from Facebook Inc., 1601 S California Ave., Palo Alto, California 94304, USA (hereafter: Facebook). This will help track your usage behavior if you've been redirected to our site by a Facebook ad. The purpose of this function is to place effective advertisements and to evaluate data for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected is anonymous for us as a website operator. However, if you accept the cookie, you consent to Facebook storing and processing its data. These data can then be used by Facebook for its own advertising purposes.

Embedding of Services and Content of Third Parties
In some cases, this online presence incorporates content provided by third parties, such as videos from YouTube or maps by Google Maps. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third party provider") can detect the IP address of the respective user. Without the IP address, they cannot transfer the content in question to the browser of the user. This means that the IP address is required for the display of the respective content. We always endeavour to only use content where the respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of said content. However, we have no influence on whether the respective third party stores the IP address for reasons such as statistical purposes for instance. We inform the user about this to the best of our knowledge.

You have the fundamental rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and contradiction.
